Daily Jigsaw Puzzle

Daily Jigsaw Puzzle gives you a fresh jigsaw every day, the same picture for every player. Each picture is an original scene drawn for this game — a mountain lake at sunrise, a city skyline at night, or hot air balloons over the fields — so no two days look alike. Choose 12 pieces for a quick break, 24 for a classic puzzle, or 48 for a longer challenge. Drag each piece into the frame; it clicks into place when it is close to the right spot. Missed a day? Open Past puzzles to play any earlier picture, and your progress is saved in your browser so you can finish later.

How to play

1. Choose 12, 24 or 48 pieces. Every size uses the same picture of the day.
2. Drag a piece from the tray into the frame. It snaps into place when it is near its spot.
3. Turn on Picture to see a faint copy of the image on the board, or use Hint to place one piece.
4. Place every piece to finish. Your time and hints are shown at the end.

Tips and strategy

• Start with the edge pieces: they have one straight side, and corners have two.
• Sort by colour. The sky, the water and the land usually sit in clear bands across the picture.
• Look at the tabs and holes: a piece with a tab on top must sit under a piece with a hole on its bottom.
• Try the 12-piece version first, then the same picture with 48 pieces for a bigger challenge.
