Number Puzzle Games

Play free number puzzles in your browser: a daily arithmetic target game, Kakuro, Nonogram and Minesweeper. New puzzle every day, no sign-up.

A number puzzle gives you digits as clues and one rule to test them against. Sometimes the digits are what you combine; sometimes they only describe something hidden, like a picture or a field of mines. Either way you solve them by deduction rather than by doing sums, which is why they work as a five-minute break as well as a long sitting.

We keep one game of each kind below. All of them run in your browser with no download and no account, each one publishes a fresh puzzle every day at 00:00 UTC, the same puzzle for every player, and most of them keep their past puzzles online with the answers.

Number Forge

A free daily number puzzle: combine six numbers with basic arithmetic to reach the target. New puzzle every day, plus unlimited practice.

The most arithmetic of the group: you merge two numbers at a time until nothing is left but the target.

Common questions

Are these number puzzles free?

Yes. All four games are free to play in the browser, with no download, no account and no timer.

What counts as a number puzzle?

Any puzzle where the clues are digits: a target to reach with arithmetic, sums that have to fit a run of squares, or counts of hidden squares.

Do I need to be good at maths?

No. Only Number Forge is arithmetic. Kakuro, Nonogram and Minesweeper are deduction puzzles that use numbers as clues.

Is there a new puzzle every day?

Yes. Every game on this page publishes one daily puzzle at 00:00 UTC, the same for all players. Number Forge, Kakuro and Nonogram also keep their past puzzles online with the answers; Minesweeper does not have a puzzle archive, and gives you unlimited practice boards instead.
